We aim to create products that make people’s mouths water. Addictive like cheese, but even better. I AM NUT OK is more daring than dairy, using inventive visual and flavour combinations. It’s not meant to replace cheese, but to satisfy the tastebuds in a way any delicious food does.
Dreaming about this gorgeous cheese tower from @lafauxmagerie featuring MinerThreat. We had some lovely wedding cheese cakes planned for the summer which are sadly now all postponed until...? Looking forward to the day we can all eat and celebrate together again 😢🖤 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just to give our minds a little break from general anxiety - tell us, if you could have a party with whatever snacks you want in any form, what would you pick? A not butter sculpture in the shape of a 🔥emoji would be just the type of impractical and extravagant snack we’d love. 😏
In January we launched our BLUFFALO NOTZZARELLA with 🍕 @yardsalepizza 🍕 and since have been getting lots of requests for it, especially from non-Londoners. Good news! We’ll be offering it on our online shop starting this week! 🥳 Look at this glorious pizza with our not cheese on top! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’re not familiar with Yard Sale Pizza, they have started an incredible fundraiser to feed the NHS staff in London. They’ve already raised an amazing £10,000 which will provide thousands of meals for those working hard at local hospitals. 👩⚕️❤️👨⚕️ We’re so proud to be working with them and support their efforts in spreading the cheesy love! 🥰
How’s everyone doing at home? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our online shop is still open so we’ve been sending out orders, but we haven’t been doing much else! Mainly crossing off our “to watch” list and cooking a lot. Luckily I’m naturally a food hoarder, so our flat was already loaded with food before this 😬 I’ve also got loads of unfinished projects, like making a hedgehog out of yarn and organizing my tea collection. What about you? Planning to pick up any useless hobbies? Let us know below so others can get ideas!

🧻UPDATE!🧻 Hey all, so given the situation, we’ve decided not to continue on with our weekly local markets until it’s safe to do so. We’re sure you’ve seen enough news and posts to understand why. It’s a very difficult time to have a small business, so please remember to buy local when you can - the large shops will be fine, but it will be hard for independent businesses to recover.
As far as I AM NUT OK goes, we plan on keeping the online shop open for all UK residents and offering pick-ups for locals from our kitchen in Hackney Central. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Please email or message us if you’d like to do so! We’ll be offering some special treats on our online shop and for pickup customers very soon! 🧀✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also a massive thank you to those of you who have already placed an order with us and continue to support our business! 🖤

For those of you who don’t know us, we’re a little artisan not cheese company in London run by a couple (of badasses😎😎). We’ll try to start being more active here and show you what goes on behind the scenes at I AM NUT OK HQ so you can get to know us better! For those of you that have been following us, you might know that we started the business out of our flat. It’s been a few months in the works, but we’d like to announce that we’ve finallyyyy got our own kitchen now! 🥳 Can you believe it?? We can’t wait for you all to see it. 🥰
We’re thinking to do some special not cheese tasting sessions here where we have new products and flavours that have never been seen before. Would that be something you’re interested in? Let us know! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We haven’t made any posts lately as we’ve been insanely busy on production so we’ve got tons of great news to update you all on, BUT we’ll save that for another time. Let’s get down to the issue at hand everyone seems to be talking about - the product formerly known as “Parme Sans”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just a quick background to get everyone up to speed: in the beginning of December, the Parmesan consortium sent their lawyers after us to get us to stop selling our Parme Sans. We told them that we will change the name of the product. They were satisfied with the new name and told us that it’s all settled. Case closed (or so we thought!). About a week later, we find out the Parmesan consortium has hired a PR team to send news to EVERYONE that a certain brand in the UK is selling “counterfeit” Parmesan. They also sent out photos of our label, cropping out the parts that read “plant based,” “dairy free,” and “NOT cheese” to make it seem like someone in the UK was attempting to replicate a dairy Parmesan without their permission and they victoriously stopped this evil cheese producer from making unauthorized Parmesan. 🙄
We never claimed it to be Parmesan. In fact, the name suggested that there is no Parmesan at all - hence Parme SANS. Let’s just call it a joke lost in translation. Perhaps it was not as obvious as we thought?
Anyway, we completely understand why we had to change the name and the legal protections that are in place for specialty products, but what they are doing now by spreading misinformation to get some attention after everything was already settled is beyond petty and unnecessary. We get that if we were a dairy cheese brand making “fake Parmesan” why that would be such a big deal to them but this is just a pathetic attempt to sensationalize something out of nothing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, how did we respond to all this mess? “Oh, Grate!” It’s an alternative to a certain cheese we cannot mention... because how much more ambiguous can we get? No really, does anyone want to buy some nut dust? We didn’t think so.
We thought it was a MinerThreat, but perhaps they were too NeroMinded. Foiegeddaboutit. 🤷
